Joe Abbott Memorial Scholarship

Joe was a 2022 graduate of West Genesee High School in Camillus, NY. While in high school, Joe went to BOCES and studied Auto Mechanics. He also volunteered at the Onondaga Hill Fire Department. After high school, Joe went to Georgia to Southeast Lineman School. He graduated in April of 2023 and came back home to a job at Protel climbing poles and doing what he loved. In honor of Joe, we provide a scholarship to a West Genesee High school senior that plans on attending a trade school. We also look for the recipient to have the same interests and heart that Joe had. So far we have given out two scholarships and plan on continuing. All donations and money raised goes towards that scholarship.
